Your Family's Privacy

  • • Zero Retention: AI providers do not store your data beyond 30 days
  • • Encryption: All AI communications are encrypted and secure
  • • Consent Required: AI processing only occurs with your explicit permission

Disabling AI Features

Complete Control: You have full control over AI features in your family account:

  • • Disable AI entirely through cookie/privacy preferences
  • • Turn off specific AI features (suggestions, insights, etc.)
  • • Request deletion of any data sent to AI services
  • • Use Chorebot fully without any AI features enabled

Account Requirements

Account Creation

  • • You must be at least 18 years old to create a family account
  • • You must provide accurate contact information
  • • One account per family unit
  • • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure

Family Member Information

  • • Only parents/guardians can add children to accounts
  • • You must have permission to add phone numbers for family members
  • • Children under 13 require special parental consent (COPPA compliance)
  • • You can remove family members from your account at any time

How to Use Chorebot Responsibly

Your Control

You own your family's data. You can export it, modify it, or delete your entire account at any time. We never sell your data to third parties.

Service Availability

We work hard to keep Chorebot available 24/7, but like all online services, we may occasionally need to perform maintenance or experience technical issues.

Service Limitations

  • • We may need to pause service for updates or maintenance
  • • SMS delivery depends on mobile carriers and may occasionally be delayed
  • • We're not responsible for issues caused by your internet connection or device

Payments & Subscription

Free Trial

New families get a free trial period to explore all features. No payment information required during the trial.

Subscription Plans

  • • Monthly and annual subscription options available
  • • All features included in paid plans
  • • Cancel anytime with no cancellation fees
  • • Prorated refunds for unused time when you downgrade

Payment Processing

We use Stripe for secure payment processing. We don't store your payment information on our servers. All transactions are encrypted and secure.

Liability & Disclaimers

Important Legal Information

Service Availability: We provide Chorebot "as is" without warranties. While we strive for reliable service, we can't guarantee 100% uptime.

Data Loss: We implement strong backup systems, but you're responsible for keeping your own records of important family information.

Family Disputes: Chorebot is a tool to help families organize chores. We're not responsible for family disagreements about chore assignments or rewards.

SMS Delivery: Text message delivery depends on mobile carriers. We can't guarantee message delivery timing or success.

Account Changes & Termination

Your Rights

  • • Export your family's data before canceling
  • • Receive prorated refunds for unused subscription time

Our Rights
